Russell Gordon - President

Russell is a producer, director, and editor with over 30 years of experience in television and event production. He started out shooting a camera at thoroughbred horse racetracks in Maryland. He later went on to work for NASA television, the U.S. Senate, three presidential campaigns and two National Conventions before starting Bluestreet Productions.  Russell works as a partner to help each client realize their vision for an event. Whether a student intern or a world leader he can explain and walk through all technical aspects of an event and instill trust and confidence under any circumstance.

Bill Brennan – Lead Videographer

Bill is a thirty-year veteran of the video and film industry. Having worked with a broad range of clients in the broadcast, business and non-profit worlds, Bill has what it takes to meet and exceed even your toughest expectations. Bill is a master at setting up exquisite lighting and framing that flatter everyone and everything caught by his lens. He uses the latest-generation Panasonic and Cannon HD cameras to ensure that you always get the highest-quality look.

Chip Burden – Audio Engineer

Chip has twenty-five years of experience in live sound production. He joined the Bluestreet/Wagtech team in 2003 and worked while completing both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Audio at American University.  He was a professor at American University and the Art Institute of Washington teaching audio classes to undergraduates while actively enhancing his live sound skills. Chip is a talented musician with trained ear to make even rooms with difficult acoustics sound their best.

Neil Collins – Video Engineer

Neil has been working in the extraordinary field of live events for the past 16 years. Starting from the bottom he took every opportunity to learn as many aspects of the process as possible. As a video engineer he has directed several multi-camera events, built, and operated countless graphic packages. These events have ranged from small corporate meetings and conferences to college graduations, large music festivals and political events. As technology constantly changes, he says that being as prepared as possible for the unknown and being able to quickly adapt to and solve issues is essential to every successful event. Neil is also an Eagle Scout.

David Frantz – Audio Technician

David has over 15 years’ experience as a sound engineer. He toured as a senior sound technician for Ringling Bros., Barnum and Bailey and is skilled with both digital and analogue equipment. As a stage musician himself, David is a veteran of both the performance and technical sides of staged productions, allowing for easier communication with— and understanding of the needs of— onstage talent. Topped off with a positive attitude, he always brings genuine enthusiasm and a smile to work.

Nate Nelson – Assistant Producer

Nate is an assistant producer here at Bluestreet Productions. He believes that every event is unique and enjoys the challenges of working in the live event field. Nate holds a certificate in theatre entertainment technology, giving him a working knowledge of all parts of our production team. He is skilled at event management and often works as a lead technician on show site. Nathan has been a part of our team for over a decade and has worked in live events since 2005.

Jim Reynolds – Audio Engineer

Jim is an extremely accomplished, skilled audio engineer with over 15 years of experience. His skills range from professional engineering, production management, concert production, live corporate events, galas, and rallies. Jim has been a road engineer for many years and has the technical skill and insight to make every room sound its best.  His experience enables him to quickly trouble shoot, diagnosis and fix any problem and ensure each event goes off perfectly. Jim is a graduate from Full Sail University.

Alan Thomas – Audio Engineer

Alan Thomas is an accomplished Front-Of-House/Monitor/ Systems Engineer who began his career in Live Sound 29 years ago in the Event/ Entertainment Production Industry specializing in Live Concert Sound Reinforcement and Corporate Meeting audio production.  Alan’s technical competence and always ready to help attitude makes him one of the best stage crew managers for live music in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Alan is a graduate of The Omega Studios’ School of Applied Recording Arts & Sciences.
